Still at $75, the GT-1150 is an exceptional combination of cushioning and support for mid-mileage runners with normal arches.
Remarkably soft SpEVA midsole cusions well and provides excellent energy return.
Equipped with the DupMax medial post provides stability for mild overpronators
Despite using less Gel than the Kayano or GT2150, the 1150 offers enough cushioning to be the softest shoe we sell. |

Summary:
The 1150 is similar to the 2150 and Kayano in terms of stability but doesn't have as much Gel as those models therefore it provides a little less cushioning. Even though this shoe contains less Gel it is a remarkably soft and flexible shoe and the SpEVA midsole cushions well and provides excellent energy return. Equipped with the DuoMax medial post, the 1150 will provide the right amount of stability for mild overpronators. Winter Shoe Guide 2010 winner of Runner's World Best Buy award.
Changes:
There are no major changes to the 1150. While the shoe has been soft in the past, this year's model seems especially soft specifically in the forefoot. Overall fit and feel is the same as the 1140. |
