Summary:
The Creation features Mizuno's Infinity Wave
cushioning system which is a dual plastic plate in the
heel. Coupled with the Smooth Ride engineering, the
Infinity Wave provides an extremely well-cushioned and
smooth ride but it also makes the Creation one of the
heaviest and stiffest shoes in its category. While the
Infinity Wave takes care of the cushioning in the
heel, Mizuno's VS-1 material provides superb
protection for the forefoot. The Creation 11 is the
perfect choice for heavier runners with neutral feet
who need a shoe that is stiff enough to handle the
impact forces. Another characteristic that makes the
Creation stand out is its Dynamotion Fit in the upper
which flows with your foot's natural movement.
Changes:
While the Creation is still a heavier shoe, this
year's model is one ounce lighter which is a noticeable
difference! Despite the reduced weight, the recipe
remains unchanged for the ultimate in high end
cushioning. The designers tinkered with the Dynamotion
Fit in the upper as well which causes this shoe to grab
the heel a little better than the previous model. The
new Creation also features the new AP+ midsole material
which has a 10% increase in rebound properties and
recovers faster. Furthermore studies have shown that
AP+ breaks down about half as much as the AP which was
used in previous models. The bottom line is the AP+
midsole will result in a bouncier, more responsive feel
to your shoes that will last longer! |
