Summary:
The 1064 is packed with all of the latest innovations from
New Balance to deliver some serious cushioning with a
fantastic fit. The ABZORB midsole provides cushioning
throughout the shoe which is bolstered by the N-ergy
construction in the heel to soften impact forces. The SURE
LACE and LockDown Liner systems work in tandem to give this
shoe a snug, supportive feel enhanced by its positioning on
the PL-1 last. Comfort in the heel is increased by the Dual
Density Heel Collar which is soft where you need cushioning
and firm where you need support. Neutral runners in need of
superb cushioning should look no further than the 1064.Changes:
While the 1063 was a good shoe in
its own right, the 1064 adds some improvements to take this
series from good to great. The new N-ergy construction in
the heel gives top-notch cushioning, so much in fact that
it’s hard to imagine a shoe that could have any more heel
cushioning than what is found in the 1064. Also the new
LockDown Liner gives the 1064 a snugger, more natural fit,
especially through the arch. |
