The Wave Rider 12 has a slightly higher arch, a slightly narrower fit, and is noticeably softer than the Rider 11. The Rider 12 is built on the same last as the Rider 11 so the fit is the same, but it is running ½ size small. The women's version has more flexibility in the forefoot and is softer in the heel.
